The Citadel, named the #1 Public College in the South, will now cover the cost of room and board for incoming freshmen enrolling for fall 2022 who have Reserve Officer’s Training Corps (ROTC) Scholarships. ROTC Scholarships from the Air Force, Space Force, Army, Navy and Marines fund the education of many cadets in the Corps. “The Citadel Service to Country Scholarship 2026 reflects the college’s commitment to educate and develop America’s next military officers through the unmatched leadership training experience here,” said The Citadel President, Gen. Scholarship Fuels a Passion for Cybersecurity
Annabelle Miller knew she wanted to work for the government. However, it was a scholarship opportunity that opened her eyes to a career in cyber security. She received an email awarding her the Scholarship for Service (SFS). The SFS is a National Science Foundation grant award. The scholarship is designed to recruit and train professionals to meet the growing demands of the cybersecurity profession. “I never expected to be interested in computers or coding, and it’s just opened a new door for me.
