Dr. Guy David Toubiana is a Professor Emeritus of French and Spanish and former head of the department. His research interests include Eighteenth Century writers and the great orators of the French Revolution. He published many articles in French, English and Portuguese and is founder and editor of the online encyclopedia, www.enlightenment-revolution.org selected by The Thomas Gray Archive of the University of Oxford as one of the most reliable websites for 18th century resources and studies.
