Dr. Kirsten Passyn is an Associate Professor of Marketing. She holds a Post Doctorate from the Wharton School, University of Pennsylvania and a Ph.D. in Marketing from the Pennsylvania State University.
Dr. Passyn’s teaching interests are wide ranging from Consumer Behavior to Professional Selling to International Marketing to Marketing Strategy, at the undergraduate and graduate level. Dr. Passyn’s research interests focus on emotional processing applied to a range of areas from health protection motivation, to political messaging.Dr. Passyn has been published in the Journal of Consumer Research and the Journal of Consumer Psychology.
Prior to earning her Ph.D., Dr. Passyn worked in marketing research in White Plains, NY, customer service and sales in Ramstein, Germany, and managed a horse farm in Kirkwood, PA importing and selling Dutch Warmbloods.
