The Institutional Program Assessment Committee (IPAC) has concluded their panel work and produced the following report based upon their findings. IPAC has evaluated all aspects of The Citadel’s procedures and operations. The most serious risks that may exist to its values and mission are defined. Recommendations are provided for corrective actions to minimize or eliminate these risks.
Ensuring the safety of our community is of top priority for The Citadel. Being transparent is one way we can protect those that are part of it. As an institution that hosts young people from all over the country and world, The Citadel is not immune to the problems found in society.
What is the Institutional Program Assessment Committee?
With the goals of institutional effectiveness, growth and transparency, the Institutional Program Assessment Committee (IPAC) is responsible for coordinating the work of institutional strategic planning and supporting planning and assessment throughout the campus. This includes recommending a meaningful and assessable college-wide plan to the President’s Cabinet, monitoring evidence indicators, assessing the plan, allocating strategic funds in alignment with the plan (as available), and updating the plan as need to align with the mission and needs of the students and the campus.
