The 5th Annual Gold Star Journal Academic Conference (GSJAC)

This spectacular evening would have marked the fifth anniversary conference. The featured speakers would have included the published authors from The 2020 Gold Star Journal (GSJ) and Renowned Author Jason Ryan. Nonfiction author Jason Ryan would have discussed the thrills of investigatory research, the importance of narrative storytelling, and the crucial roles several Citadel alumni played in South Carolina’s famous drug smuggling case, Operation Jackpot. The conference would have included dinner, presentations, and an award ceremony. This event was canceled due to COVID.
