The FAFSA for 2023-24 is STILL available. In order to receive federal aid and some Citadel scholarships (for Spring/Summer 2023) you need to file a FAFSA for every academic year.
Steps for filing the FAFSA
- Create a FSAID (if you haven’t already). This will be used to log into your FAFSA and as an electronic signature to sign the FAFSA along with any required federal student aid documents. (Both you and your parents will need a FSAID)
- Start the FAFSA form at studentaid.gov.
TIPS for SUCCESS
- File the FAFSA! Even if you think you are not eligible, filing can open you up to Citadel scholarships as well as federal funds.
- Read ALL emails from the financial aid office. We will email you often about your financial aid award and missing information requirements.
- Call our office with any questions about your aid or if there is something you do not understand. We are here to help and make the financial aid process as easy as we can.
