Dr. Adair joined the department in 2008 after completing her Ph.D. at the University of South Carolina. Her area of study includes the Early Modern Era and British Literature. To accommodate The Citadel’s new General Education curriculum, Dr. Adair now also develops and teaches writing-intensive courses on a variety of topics, including the literature of war and how to cultivate resiliency in the wake of a post-COVID world.
