The Bachelor Degree Programs in Teacher Education are designed for students who would like to begin a career in the teaching profession. Students who successfully complete this program will obtain both an undergraduate level education and recommendation for licensure to teach.
Cadets, Active Duty, and Veteran Day students may choose from five teaching specializations:
- Secondary Education (grades 9-12)
- Physical Education (grades K-12)
- Modern Languages (grades K-12)
The Zucker School is a “full service” school of education whose purpose is to provide high quality programs in the preparation of K-12 teachers, educational leaders, and school counselors. We do this by developing individuals who are both content experts but also gifted in instructional strategies for reaching all learners. Our faculty are actively engaged in local school districts and regularly contribute to their disciplines through research and scholarship. Our alumni are serving in leadership roles in education and related disciplines all over the state of South Carolina and beyond.
